-My goal is to make every rod unique in every way; fantastic to cast, fish and enjoy for the rest of your life. To that end, I use only the best materials in order to produce only the finest rods.

-The heart and soul of any bamboo rod is the blank. Each blank is made to a specific taper, giving each rod a unique personality and feel. I start with my supply of pre-embargo bamboo.

-When it comes to tapers, Dickerson and Powell are hard to beat. All the tapers I use are subtle variations of these classic tapers.

-The ferrules I use are nickel-silver super swiss.

-The agate stripping guide and snake guides are top of the line, and all of my rods come with a ring hook-keeper.

-I lathe each grip of each rod to custom specification, that way, you get a rod that is truly made to fit your grip.

-Each rod has nickel-silver reel seat hardware and you will find either Bellenger spacers or spacers I have made myself out of different beautiful hardwoods.

-My rods come in either browntone or blonde colors, hollow or solid, depending on customer preference.

-The wraps are the finest silk thread, then finished with strong flexible urethane.

-My unique finishing technique is second to none. Each rod goes though several dipping processes in order to get a final coat which is almost completely free of imperfections.
